OK so the story you all have been waiting to here, or maybe that I was waiting to tell. So as you all know I was dying to get this baby here due to my obesity. So I was seen by my doctor on Saturday again for the third time that week and started having some contractions at one that afternoon that kept going until that evening. I didn't want to go into the hospital because they weren't really painful, just uncomfortable, and everyone had told me that when I started having contractions that were going to put me into labor they would be pretty painful. So after me and Kyle discussed it for an hour….. we decided we were going to wait. So I get into bed at about eleven and of course I started having bad back pain. So then I starting timing my contractions again and now they were three minutes apart instead of five. I then thought that the pain was enough to go in. SO Kyle and me grab all the bags and head out to the hospital. I was hooked up to all the monitors and was told that I was having consistent contractions and that they were pretty good ones but that I wasn't dilating. So they sent me home with an Ambin pill to help me get through the night and told me that my doctor wanting me to come back in the morning to be checked to see if I had dilated more. (Side note I now know why people love Ambin…. That stuff knocked me out). I then woke up at six in the morning with back pain again and went in at eight to have the doctor check me. And boy oh boy it was time. I had dilated to a three and the doctor stated that it was progress from the night before so they admitted me. Oh man I was not knowing what to think now that it was really time. They set me up in my room and put me on some patosum (how ever you spell it) and waited for me to dilate a little more. When I got to a four the doctor came in and broke my water which was at about 11:30 am. Now it was even more real then ever before. I was so nervous because I knew it wouldn't be long now. They then told me I could have my epidural whenever I wanted it, and for some reason I thought that I would feel a few really bad contractions before I got my epidural. I then had about three bad contractions and decided that I was ready for the pain to be done. I then got my epidural which went pretty good. I think my nerves and having contraction while they were giving me my epidural was the worst part. After that it was smooth sailing. Delivery was awesome!! I only pushed for about thirty minutes and it was great, I can't believe how cool it was. She was then here at 8:18 PM ON SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 14 SHE WEIGHED 6 POUNDS 10 OUNCES AND 20 INCHES LONG. She was so cute right from the git go. She was so alert and just stared at me and Kyle it was priceless. Over all it was a experience I will never forget and it went so well. Here are some of her birth pictures enjoy!!!!
