Have I mentioned how much I love Brecke! I think I am obsessed. I seriously can't get over everything that she does. And I know its nothing new to the world and that millions of other kids out there have done the same thing, but there is something about watching your own child grow. It's the most amazing experience.
Breckes new thing the past week has been to carry not only her one purse that she has always loved, but to carry both of her purses while pushing her baby in her strolling with her blanket and binky. Yes its allot! but she manages to do it and will do it for hours. She is hilarious. She is also getting so attached to her binky and blanket that it might start becoming a problem. She always wants her "D" which is her binky and usually her blanket follows. I mean she will drag that blanket everywhere. There have been fights when I have had to take it away because she is wanting to take it outside in the rain with her or in the dirt beyond our yard. We had to drive in the car the other day without it and man did I hear it all the way home. SHES OBSESSED!!!! The sad thing is, is I was extremely obsessed with my blanket when I was younger and may still have it and didn't give up my thumb until I was in like 7th grade...WOW I know and so I get nerves but yet I know how she feels when she has it. I also think its dumb to try and do something about it now because soon baby brother will be here and then she will revert back once she sees blanket and binky for brother. Oh man what to do.
Brecke also is a master at showing you all her body parts and saying her animal sounds. Our two favorites that she says is lamb... which she just laughs for cause it sounds like that when we mimc it and the frog...she can't concur that one so she just made up her own sound that sounds nothing like it. SO funny! To me she seems so smart, but Kyle sometimes puts me in check and reminds me that she is probably just right on schedule with her ability to learn but to me shes smart. She can put so many things together and if you show her something once you can be sure she will figure it out on her own and continue to do it. She eats on her own and gets very upset when you try to feed her and she loves "big girl" cups over her sippy. But she will tell you over and over agin in the morning that she wants a "baba" which is her sippy full of milk. Her other new thing this past couple of weeks is singing the itsy bitsy spider. She loves it and will do all the signs and then clap when its over to do it again. She has also started to love to hide and throw herself around on the couch until she gets dizzy......so fun I'm telling ya. I'll update on her soon I'm sure.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYLE!!!!!

Kyle turned 30 on Friday and man does he seem old!!! hehehe just kidin. The sad thing is, is he looks like he's 21 years old again playing baseball. I swear he just keeps getting better with age, while I keep getting pregnant and fat with age! Oh well maybe in about 6 years or so the tables will turn, NOT! Anyways, we had such a fun day. I stayed up tell 12:30am the night before so I could fill the house with balloons and decor, for the big man! I then decorated his car inside and out which he did not like at all. It's that attention thing I tell ya. Even when it comes to the simplest things he does not like attention on him.
Kyle, Brecke and I drove to Vegas for the day and had such a fun relaxing day shopping and eating. Me and Brecke then made Kyle the famous family Red Cake and boy was Brecke excited to eat it. The candles didn't last but two second which was kind of funny and I was the only one singing!!!! On Sunday we had what little family we have here in St. George come over for dinner and cake again. I really wanted to make the big three 0 a big deal but of course nothing worked out that I wanted and when I finally told Kyle all of my ideas, it wasn't really anything that he thought would work out like we would have wanted. I hope it was a good day for him because I sure wanted it to be.
I can't express my love and thankfulness for Kyle enough. I should tell him everyday but of course I am at fault and don't. Instead I boss him around! At least thats what he tells me I do. I couldn't have asked for a better father and husband. I truly think he could be the worlds best dad. He is amazing with Brecke. It's a pretty regular occurrence that I think of how blessed and lucky I am to have a life with Kyle and for Brecke to have such a great father. Kyle is such an example to me when it comes to being such a hard worker and sticking to whatever his heart is desiring. I mean he wakes up at like 6am to go workout and train for the CrossFit Games then off to work he goes at like 7:30 8am. He's back home around 4pm to either do private baseball lessons or coach the Dessert Hills High School baseball team. Then often he hits up the gym again to either train or teach classes. While doing all this he comes home for minutes at a time to love on Brecke and make sure that we are doing ok. Then when his day is over at around 6:30, 7pm he gets to eat dinner... that is if Brecke lets him and then he's off to bathe Brecke, play with her, read to her and then put her down. And yes I am capable of doing all that and sometimes I do, but thats Kyles time with Brecke that he just loves.
And being 7 months pregnant I must say I probably do boss Kyle around just a little and yes he is the best for taking it!!! I love you babe for always being there for me. Happy Happy Birthday I hope it was a birthday you will remember.

My little Animal!!!!

Here are some fun pictures of Kyle competing at the CrossFit Qualifications, what a fun time it was. As you can see my husband is pretty ripped and strong!! Everything a girl dreams of RIGHT!
Watching Kyle over the last 10 months start his own gym and train himself for the CrossFit Games has been the most amazing thing to watch. Not only was I so proud of Kyle and Kade to start their own gym that they have such a passion for, but to watch Kyle compete for the CrossFit Games was another thing. It was the most inspiring event I have ever been to. I have never wanted to be more in shape in my life, or to even want to be strong. CrossFit is seriously in a category of its own.
Kyle did so well, even considering that his first day he was a little off. Kyle wasn't feeling totally himself the first day. Kyle hurt his back at the beginning of the week and tried working it out by the weekend. Kyle still managed to come in 4th on his first work out, 6th on his second, 24th on his third, and 8th place on the fourth which was the next day. After Kyle's second workout is when he really took the hardest hit. Kyle laid on the floor for about 20 minutes straight not able to get up. He of course made it look like he was totally fine, but I could tell he was not feeling up to par. Kyle then got an IV to get some fluids in him and continued throughout the day. Kyle's amazing to me, he is the most humbled athlete I have ever met. No matter how good at something he is or how well he looks he would never flaunt it or act like it. He truly is so incredible with his strength and ability to compete. Kyle came into 5th place overall with about 80 competitors. Kyle will now be going to the CrossFit Regionals in Washington on 15th of May. I won't be able to make it unfortunately since my due date is May 29th and Im pretty sure a car ride that far wouldn't be that fun and a plane ride is out of the question:( I think Kyle is going to do great. they only pick like the top 4 from a few different regions so it will defiantly be harder to make. If he makes it then he goes to the official CrossFit Games in July!!!! I hope he makes it!
