Baby showers, and baby showers and more baby showers!!!
This was the beginning of the bag before Kyle dove in for the suit up!
My best friend Desi that is always so good to me, how I lived my life before she came into it is beyond me. If we could only be closer to each other :(
This is Kaylee for those of you who don't know her, she is about 4 months pregnant here.... I think and you can't even tell. Were both so excited to have kids together. I just can't believe that's whats really happening.
I couldn't believe that the Thornlys really made it. This was the family that I nannied for, before me and Kyle got married and their so so so busy I thought for sure that they wouldn't be able to make it. I loved every minute of catching up with the kids and parents. I sure do miss them!
And of course the family baby shower. My mother in law is great, she threw me a shower while up north which turned out great. I got so many nice gifts and couldn't thank the family enough for all that they do for me and Kyle. Thanks again to the great sister, mother, aunts, grandparents, cousins and friends that Kyle and I have that support us.
Here is a picture of my lovely sister in law and our good family friend Mindy. We had to of course get a picture of the three pregnant girls! PS my sister bought me that really pretty crown to wear the whole evening. It says, "Mother to be" as if you couldn't already tell by my big belly.
And last but not least my mom and good friend Brecke threw me my first baby shower. And you can imagine how, "momma Lopez "went all out! This is a picture of the left over cake that she had made for my shower. It was originally two tiers, and man can I tell you how delicious it was. We forgot to take one the night of the shower, and of course my camera was dead, so my mom has most of the pictures from that night :( Thank you so much mom and Brecke for all that you did and have done for me. I can't tell you much fun I had that night!
My good old drill team friends, it was so much fun seeing my girlfriends that I use to spend every waking minute of my life with, if only I could see them more often!
Here's the whole party, you gotta love my mom's friend who is front and center in MY baby shower picture. We had a great laugh at that one. Thanks to all of you who came it was so good to see you all, I love and miss everyone of you.
And to start off the main event before all the baby showers was my brothers birthday. Conveniently I planned my first baby shower on his birthday so we all got together the night before for dinner. SORRY!!!! I want to let him know how much I love and appreciate him though. I can't explain how close I have grown to him. I can't thank him enough for always being there for me. He suffered with me bugging him and his girlfriends growing up, to coming to a lot of my dance performances when little, attending my high school drill team competitions, watching me graduate from high school, helping me off to collage and dealing with me crying because I missed everyone, to listening to me cry more over my relationships with the boys, to being a part of my wedding, watching me graduate from college, and listen to me throughout my whole pregnancy. He truly has always been there for me. I have always told my mom while growing up that I wish I could just clone my brother to be my husband. What a great brother, husband and father he has been. He has taught me so much about life and how to have a good marriage. I can't thank him enough for the support that he has been to mine and Kyles marriage. I hope that he knows how much I love him, and can't wait for my little girl to get to know her uncle :)

Our 2nd Anniversary
June 28, 2006
Another year has passed!!! I can't believe our rough two years is already behind us. I remember everyone telling me that the first two years is always the hardest, and if we're past the hard part then life is great. I do have a strong feeling though that life is just going to get harder, now that we're starting our family. I think the saying should be the other way around. The first two years are the best, and then things get rough.
I can't express how lucky and thankful I am for my marriage. I couldn't have picked a better guy to be with for the rest of my life. Kyle has taught me so much, and has been the best husband anyone could ask for, (beside the non emotional part, hahaha). When I look at how far Kyle and I have come in our lives I sometimes feel like I'm in a dream. We have worked hard for where we're at and am so excited to live the rest of my life with him.
Here's Kyle and I for round two at Brian Head after I healed from dislocating my shoulder the first round, on our first year anniversary.
This is at Park City with the Boyer family
My first trip to Hawaii..... Christmas 2007
We find out I'm pregnant!!!! Nine weeks along
Our San Diego trip to the Dodger games and a little bit of Sea World..... My favorite place!!
And Last but not least growing like a weed, I now plant and grow when I boat, no more playing:(
